Ad account audit: named lines, a reason, and the data behind it

An audit you can check for yourself. Not a seven out of ten for the account, but a list of findings, each naming a campaign, a reason, and how many clicks or leads the conclusion rests on. Delivery is checked every 2 hours, a full audit runs every 24 hours, and all of it covers every platform the client uses at once.

14 days on any plan, no card needed to start. After the click: a three-field form and the workspace.

What gets checked

Tracking
Pixel, conversion actions, UET tag, Conversions API events, match quality
Wasted spend
Placements with bad traffic, search terms off target, campaigns spending without results
Structure
Duplicate keywords across campaigns, the learning phase, mixed goals in one ad group
Creatives
Fatigue, sameness of formats, whether they meet the platform spec
Rules
Review rejections, vertical limits, prohibited wording
Delivery
Campaigns that are not running while their status and budget say they should be

Every conclusion carries a confidence label: confirmed by data, likely, not enough data. A conclusion drawn from three clicks is called exactly that.

01What it looks like

An account audit in ADS Beast: lines, reasons, and the data behind them

Screen recording: a list of findings for an account with the campaign, the reason and a confidence label, the tracking check, and a finding moving into the approval queue.

A screen recording of the product in the ADS Beast demo workspace. The clients and campaigns on screen exist for the demonstration; no real advertiser stands behind them.
02What it does

What the audit does

01

A finding is a line, not a paragraph

The campaign, what is wrong, why it matters, how much data the conclusion rests on, and what to do about it. Five fields per finding. Nobody writes paragraphs of general advice about optimisation here.

  • A list of findings naming the campaign and the reason
  • The amount of data and a confidence label on every conclusion
  • A proposed action that leads into the approval queue
02

Delivery is checked more often than the audit runs

A campaign is active, the budget is there, and there are no impressions. That does not wait a day for the audit. The delivery check every 2 hours catches stalled campaigns, restricted accounts and rejected ads, and raises an alert.

  • An alert on a campaign with no delivery, naming the platform, account and period
  • The state of the account: restrictions, actions the platform is asking for
  • Review rejections with the reason as it was worded
03

Wasted spend, line by line

Placements with bad traffic, campaigns spending with no leads, duplicate keywords competing with each other inside one account - every one of those lines is shown with the amount in dollars for the period.

  • Campaigns and ad groups that spent without results over the period
  • Placements switched on against the safe settings
  • Duplicate keywords across campaigns, with a proposal for splitting them
04

Tracking is checked first

Without tracking, every other conclusion is worthless. The audit starts with the pixel, the conversion actions and the server events: are they installed, are they firing, do they match real people. Only then is it worth talking about cost per lead.

  • The state of the pixel and conversion actions on each platform
  • Match quality for server events
  • A list of campaigns with no tracking that are spending anyway
03How it works

How the audit runs on a schedule

An operator does not start the audit by hand, though they can. The system checks on its own and brings only what has changed.

  1. 01

    Every 2 hours

The delivery check: active campaigns with no impressions, account restrictions, rejections.

  2. 02

    Every 24 hours

A full audit across every platform the client uses: tracking, waste, structure, creatives, rules.

  3. 03

    Findings into the queue

Each finding lands in recommendations with a proposed action; anything that moves money goes to approvals.

  4. 04

    The next audit

Once a change is applied the system checks whether the finding has gone, and it does not bring back what you rejected.

04How it fits together

Where the data comes from and what you get out of it.

Ad accounts hand over their statistics through your own OAuth apps. The system puts them into one picture, agents look for what to change, and only what you approve gets changed.

06What it does not do

What the audit does not do

  • It does not hand out marks out of ten, and it does not give general advice with no line attached to it.
  • It does not pass a conclusion from thin data off as a pattern - every one carries a confidence label.
  • It does not apply the fix itself: a finding becomes an action in the approval queue.
  • It does not compare you with industry benchmarks that are not in the client data.
07Questions and answers

Questions and answers

How is this different from an agency report?

In its shape: every finding is a line with a campaign, a reason, the data behind it and a proposed action. You can check it by opening the ad account. Nobody writes paragraphs about structural optimisation here.

How often does it repeat?

The delivery check every 2 hours, a full audit every 24 hours. You can start a full audit by hand at any moment.

What does the confidence label mean?

How much data the conclusion rests on: confirmed, likely, not enough data. A campaign with three clicks is never told "this is not working" - it is told "there is not enough data".

Does the system fix what it finds?

No. The finding turns into an action with a reason and lands in recommendations; if the action moves money it goes into the approval queue. The system applies it only after confirmation.

Connect an account and get a first list of findings with lines in it, not a score
