LinkedIn Ads for agencies: business campaigns in the same summary as the rest

ADS Beast connects LinkedIn Ads accounts over OAuth, reads campaigns and analytics every 15 minutes and shows them on one spend line with Google, Meta, TikTok and Microsoft. Lead form entries reach the CRM, the LinkedIn Audience Network is off in new campaigns, and any budget change waits for a person.

14 days on any plan, no card needed to start. After the click: a three-field form and the workspace.

What gets connected

Connection
OAuth: sign in to LinkedIn with an account that has access to the ad account
What is read
Campaigns and analytics for the account and its campaigns: 90 days first, then every 15 minutes
What is applied
Campaign status and budget - after confirmation in the approval queue

Leads
LinkedIn lead forms reach the CRM with their form fields
Safe by default

An error from the platform never turns into silence: the body of every unsuccessful response is written to the log, so a LinkedIn refusal can be told apart from a fault of ours.

01What it looks like

A LinkedIn account in ADS Beast: summary, leads, approvals

Screen recording: connecting a LinkedIn Ads account, spend in the shared summary with every other platform, a form lead arriving in the CRM, and the approval queue.

A screen recording of the product in the ADS Beast demo workspace. The clients and campaigns on screen exist for the demonstration; no real advertiser stands behind them.
02What it does

What the system does with a LinkedIn account

01

LinkedIn spend on one line with every other platform

LinkedIn usually costs more per click than the rest, which makes its spend all the more important to see in the total rather than in a tab of its own. The system converts spend to one currency, shows it over the shared date window and checks it against the account.

  • LinkedIn spend beside the client's other platforms
  • Account-level and campaign-level analytics for 90 days
  • A check against the native account
02

Form leads and how good they are

Leads from LinkedIn forms reach the CRM with their form fields and campaign. As on every other platform, each one is scored for bot signals and read against the disqualifying answers in the client industry profile.

  • A lead in the CRM with its form fields and campaign
  • A bot score and a flag for review
  • The answers that disqualify a lead under the industry profile
03

The audience network is off before you start

Impressions outside the LinkedIn feed run on third-party inventory with weaker control. In lead campaigns that is off by default, and switching it on is an explicit operator decision written to the log.

  • A safe placement set in every new campaign
  • A placement guard that runs every hour
04

Changes only after confirmation

Pausing and budgets go through the approval queue, are applied through the API and are read back from the account. If the platform refuses, the system shows the wording of the refusal rather than "something went wrong".

  • An approval queue with the reason and the expected effect
  • Confirmation by reading back from the account after the change
  • The platform response text when it refuses
03How it works

From connecting the account to the first business lead

Connecting is an ordinary LinkedIn sign-in with a consent screen. Everything that moves money stays with a person.

  1. 01

    Connect the account

An administrator picks the client and goes through OAuth in the Ad accounts section.

  2. 02

    Wait for the history

Campaigns and analytics for 90 days, then every 15 minutes.

  3. 03

    Take the leads

Form leads reach the CRM with a bot score and the industry read of their answers.

  4. 04

    Confirm changes

Budget and status go through the approval queue.

04How it fits together

Where the data comes from and what you get out of it.

Ad accounts hand over their statistics through your own OAuth apps. The system puts them into one picture, agents look for what to change, and only what you approve gets changed.

06What it does not do

What the system will not do with your LinkedIn

  • It will not change budgets or statuses without a person confirming.
  • It will not create ad accounts or request an API access tier from LinkedIn on your behalf.
  • It will not switch the audience network on quietly.
  • It will not pass empty analytics off as an error: if a campaign has no impressions, the system says so.
07Questions and answers

Questions and answers

What do I need to connect LinkedIn Ads?

A LinkedIn account with access to the client ad account. An administrator goes through OAuth with permissions to read ads and reporting and to manage campaigns. Access is revoked on the LinkedIn side.

Why is the analytics empty when the account is connected?

Usually because the campaigns have no impressions, for instance because they are all drafts. The system tells "no data" apart from "the request failed": in the second case the log holds the platform response and Connection health shows the problem.

Do LinkedIn lead forms work the way Meta forms do?

Yes: the lead reaches the CRM with its form fields, is scored for bot signals and read against the disqualifying answers in the client industry profile. What happens next is a manager decision.

What do I do about platform refusals when changing a campaign?

The system shows the LinkedIn refusal text inside the action in the approval queue. That tells a platform limit apart from a fault of ours and points at what to change.

Connect a LinkedIn account and see its spend in the total, not in a separate tab

The first 14 days are free on any plan and you do not need a card to start. Analytics for 90 days appears as soon as the account is connected.
